Workers Day – Simon Mwadkwon lauds workers contributions to National development
The Member representing Barikin Ladi/Riyom Federal Constituency and Senator-elect Plateau North, Hon. Simon Mwadkwon PhD has commended Nigerian Workers for their resilience, industrious disposition and contributions to National development.
In a Workers’ Day message, the Lawmaker lauded the value Workers in the Country, both those in the private and public sectors are adding to nation building despite the poor renumeration and lack of reasonable benefits that will motivate them to perform better.

Simon Mwadkwon reads that the contributions of workers to the growth and development of Nigeria cannot be quantified, they are the pillar holding the Nation considering the value they are adding to the Nation. Workers are critical factors to organizations and must not be jettisoned if progress is to be achieve. They help in achieving set goals” he said.
While congratulating them on the occasion of the 2023 Workers’ Day celebration, the Federal Lawmaker charged employers of Labour to improve the welfare and working conditions of workers to enhance their productivity which in turn he said will translate to greater growth, development and profitability as the case maybe.
He said as a Lawmaker, he will continue to legislate and support legislation that will improve the working conditions of Workers.
He wished them a successful celebration and admonished them not to relent but continue to contribute their quota to national peace, unity and prosperity.
