Plateau South Senator Bali empowers over 600  women with start-up capital

Senator   representing Plateau South  Senatorial zone  AVM Napoleon Bali rtd ,has empowered over 600  women  with start up kits to boost their businesses.

 The Senator  who was inaugurated on Monday  said  ” So far 100 Women from  the six local government councils that make up the Senatorial district have benefited from the empowerment programmes.”

Bali noted that women are the life wire of any society and nation, So the more women are empowered financially and otherwise, the better it will be for their families and society.

He  thanked Plateau South  constituents especially the women and Youths for the overwhelming support which he received during the campaigns .

 “We will ensure provision of  basic amenities like potable water, electricity, health care services, and enhance support to agriculture, security, education among others,  “he said.

Bali, a one-time Chief of Policy and Plans (COPP) HQ NAF , also said  he would use his acquired knowledge and wealth of experience to promote peace and attract developmental projects as well as job opportunities for the youths.“

” I  will use part of my personal emoluments and liaise with micro finance banks within my Senatorial zone to guarantee soft loans for the needy , especially women ,these initiatives will add value to better the living conditions of our People and mitigate security challenges.”

AVM Bali rtd further said that he would create Functional Constituency Liaison Offices in the 6 Local government councils of the Senatorial District.

“The offices will duly identify the needs and actual strength of unemployment of the various Communities for planning and lobbying the correct Ministry, Department and Agency (MDAs )for possible intervention by the Executive Arm of Government or through Legislation.”

He added that ,he would further make conscious efforts to create a bond of unity with other elected Representatives from Plateau State to form a United Front for the Protection of lives and properties .

Bali who   has sank several  boreholes in Quanpan and Langtang  North as well as  remodelled and renovated the Maternity  ward in Langtang North General hospital despite the fact that he has not received a single emoluments to undertake all this projects called on the People of the state to support the Governor of the state Bar Caleb Mutfwang as he has the best interest of the state at heart .
