People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Plateau State have reaffirmed their support for the state governor, Bar Caleb Mutfwang .
The PDP in a statement signed by John Akans the state Publicity Secretary PDP and made available to newsmen in Jos reads that the attention of the party, has been drawn to another desperate but laughable unworthy news item that is being circulated by the opposition party the APC in the state where they are erroneously accusing the Plateau PDP led administration under the leadership of Governor Barr Caleb Mutfwang of collection of loan facility from Jaiz Bank.
According to Akan’s ” It is unfortunate and laughable that the apc is now sponsoring all manners of falsehood against the PDP and Governor Mutfwang’s government all in effort aimed at belittling the successful clearing of rot left behind by the APC in the state and the positive turnaround the state has begun to experience since Mutfwang assumed office.
The statement reads in parts ” Their allegations is not only false but mischievous and wicked lie that emanated from the desperate Plateau APC leadership in the state.”
” We are greatly appalled at the desperation of the APC for always sponsoring false publications against the Peoples government which is simply aimed at diverting the attention of the public from the much talked about monumental corruption under their last administration led by Lalong.”
“Governor Mutfwang has always and will continue to be an upright administrator and a politician who is committed to the development of Plateau State and Nigeria.”
The PDP also said ” We want let the APC know that there is a permissable level of decency in politics and we expect all generation next agents to follow that couse. “And rather than respond to documentary proofs of corruption against their administration the APC leaders are busy hiding and using its usual undesirable elements to fabricate unimaginable allegations of this lies of Jaiz Bank to distract attention and play on the intelligence and sensibilities of plateau people. ”
The PDP stands firm with Governor Caleb Mutfwang and laudable achievement he has stated recording within 30 days in office.
The PDP is solidly behind him on every steps he takes all the way, as he continues in his giant strides of laying the foundation for the accelerated development of Plateau State.
The party is more than ever before united as a family, as we are impressed at the good works of our Governor, he is a good product for the state and he remain so.
We want to alert the public and the security agencies that the APC’s continued false allegations and violent tendencies against the government and the people of plateau state is a clear evidence that the APC in the state are entrenching political violence through their social media agents to instigate instability in the state.
Because this lies can only come from agents of darkness who do not wish the state well.
We therefore place on record that the purveyors of this lies are either deluded, suffering from acute amnesia, or just trying to make a nuisance of themselves.
This is not only unfounded, frivolous and malicious but is also a great lie that stands no reason, APC should know that Governor Mutfwang is now a deliverer of good dividends of democracy and good governance.
When God begins a special project, only a fool will refuse to join. As a party we are proud of our God sent Mr Talk and Do Governor; who works more and talks less, Mutfwang has rekindle the hope and faith in the actualization of Plateau of our dream.
APC should note that no matter the level of falsehood peddled around, Plateau people are already committed to supporting Governor Mutfwang’s led PDP administration in the State. They should continue to wallow in shame as they have failed the people when they were given the opportunity to serve.
