“The opposition (PDP) has failed to control their rabid supporters who have turned political extremists and fundamentalists chanting war songs, attacking personalities and profiling persons perceived of divergent political views all in their desperation to gain access to power. This, from all shades of evaluation is opposition taking too far. It is completely allien to our political culture, indecorous and unacceptable for a political party to continue to fan the embers of disunity in the state.
“The public should be aware that we have maintained silence even in most provocative circumstances and has condoned so much indecent conduct from the opposition PDP whose major preoccupation is to create chaos with spurious and uncouth remarks. We therefore urge them to thread with caution and allow peace to reign.
“For the avoidance of doubt, while the legal works continues at the court of Appeal, His Excellency Engineer Abdullahi A Sule has refused to be distracted, he has been busy breaking fallow grounds for new investment opportunities for the common good of the people of the state.
“By this singular efforts, we are calling on the PDP if they truly care about the development of the state as they claimed, to join us (APC) dutifully and with all sense of patriotism come up with ideas that will help move the state forward instead of their regular unpalatable and Inciting commentaries capable of causing friction in the state.” -Hon.
