The Plateau State Chapter of the All Progressive Congress APC has backlash PDP over the State Chairman’s  comment.
The party in a statement made available to this medium and was signed by Hon. Sylvanus Namang, APC State Publicity Secretary stated that their attention has once again been drawn to another Press conference on Thursday 30th by Hon.Chris Hassan, the Plateau State PDP factional Chairman in which he claimed, amongst other things, that his party has a valid structure.
Hon. Namang also revealed that the PDP Chairman in his  party’s habitual tendency of joining issues with the courts of competent jurisdiction, claimed that his party had complied with the court order and  that the PDP in the state remains the “most structured”!
He said, this statement is anything but mere hallucination and is as bemusing as it is one of the PDP’s usual self-consolatory outbursts and ego trips which do not reflect the reality on ground. If anything, the press statement exposes the characteristic deceitful, wishful thinking and double-speak inclination of the party which is still in a state of paranoia and self-denial and its read as follows:

This statement is anything but mere hallucination and is as bemusing as it is one of the PDP’s usual self-consolatory outbursts and ego trips which do not reflect the reality on ground. If anything, the press statement exposes the characteristic deceitful, wishful thinking and double-speak inclination of the party which is still in a state of paranoia and self-denial.
Furthermore, the recent no-holds-barred interviews in the Sun Newspaper and Radio France, Hausa Service by Sir Fidelis Tapgun, former Governor of Plateau State and Member PDP Board of Trustees have not only blown up the lid but has further exposed the quantum of lies and fake claims of the PDP having valid structure.
In his characteristic bluntness, the elder statesman and a man of great honour who is well respected in the state and nationally, admitted in the interviews that the PDP does not have any valid structure having not complied with the order of the Court. To sum up, he said: “the PDP has lost its soul; locusts have eaten up everything”. What further evidence do we need, to contradict the statement by the PDP BOT Member, which is the conscience of the party? Instead of being remorseful after the elder statesman’s statement, this reckless and shameless arm of the PDP resorted to attacking him.
Hon. Chris Hassan’s hide-and-seek game remains very laughable and pitiable.
Against the backdrop of the PDP factional Chairman’s insinuating that his Party has complied with the order of the Court directing it to repeat its congresses, we are further vindicated by the lucid and unambiguous pronouncement of the Court of Appeal led by E.O. Williams-Dawodu which has put the matter to rest.
For the records, we would quote the relevant part of the judgment which states as follows: “It is curious to say the least that since September 25th 2021, the date the 2nd and 3rd Respondents claimed that they complied with the order of the Court in suit No. PLD/J304/2020 they failed or were unable to show evidence of their alleged compliance before this Court as September 25th 2021 preceded May 6th 2022 and October 28th 2022. It needs also to be stated that the 3rd Respondent’s Appeal SC/CV/1341/2022 to the apex Court on the decision of this Court in Appeal CA/J/196/2021 of May 6th 2021 was dismissed on December 7th 2022”. Need we say more?
Nevertheless,we are already aware that after the previous failed attempts at blackmailing the Judiciary through sponsored protests, street demonstrations and comical shows on television stations, the embattled Governor Caleb Mutfwang and his non-existent party, we are fully aware have concluded grand plans to bankroll  violence in the state in the name of what they have tagged as “the mother of all protests” ahead of the Supreme Court judgment coming up in a matter of weeks.
The APC is keeping tap of all their ubiquitous and dastardly plans which we once again call on security agencies in the state to be on red alert to abort these untoward developments.
