Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda has described as unacceptable the callous destruction of lives and properties in some parts of Mangu, Bokkos and Barkin Ladi Local Government Areas of the State.

In a statement, signed in Jos Dr Nentawe who was declared the winner of the Plateau Governorship election by the court of Appeal totally condemned the dastardly act describing it as barbaric, wicked and unacceptable.

The statement was signed by
Shittu Bamaiyi the Spokesman of Generation Next Campaign Council and made available to newsmen .

Dr. Nentawe noted that the crisis is fast becoming a recurring decimal which should not be tolerated at all costs.

According to him, from all indications, the marauders are under the illusion that they are above the law and therefore can strike any where, and at any time.

Dr. Nentawe stressed that there is every reason for the government and the people to rise up to the occasion by calling off their bluff.

He noted that, it is rather sad and painful, that when the people are supposed to be celebrating Christmas, they are sorrowfully left, counting both their human and material losses.

While acknowledging the sacrifice and patriotic efforts of the security agencies, and that of the State government, the Governor-elect called for the support of all and sundry in the fight against the insurgents .

Dr. Nentawe prayed against the reoccurrence of the crisis and wished those who sustained injuries, a quick recovery.
