This was contained in a statement signed by Martha Nyam the Chief Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor of Plateau State and made available to newsmen .
She commiserated with the families of the victims and urged them to seek the face of God for comfort while reaffirming the government’s commitment to end the cycle of killings in the state.
Piyo called on citizens to prioritize peace and harmonious living at all times for the good of the state, in spite of our cultural and religious differences.
She advised residents to be conscious of their environment and report to the security agencies any suspicious movements in their communities.
She, however, called on the security agencies to expedite action toward bringing the culprits to book and averting a similar situation in the future.
