The Plateau Central Movement for Positive Change, a grassroots organization dedicated to promoting good governance, youth empowerment, community development, and inclusive progress across Bokkos, Mangu, Pankshin, Kanke, and Kanam Local Government Areas has unanimous endorsed Hon. Chief Ephraim Usman as the preferred candidate for the Plateau Central Senatorial Zone seat in the 2027 general elections.

Coordinator/Leader of the Plateau group said the decision follows extensive consultations with stakeholders, including youths, women groups, traditional leaders, community elders, and political associates from all five local government areas in the zone.
The statement reads that “After careful deliberation on the need for competent, selfless, and visionary representation in the National Assembly, the Movement has identified Hon. Chief Ephraim Usman as the embodiment of the positive change.
It reads in parts “Plateau Central desperately needs.Hon. Chief Ephraim Usman, the current Honourable Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs in Plateau State,because he has demonstrated exceptional leadership through tangible achievements.
” Under his stewardship, local government debts have been significantly reduced, workers’ salaries enhanced, and numerous infrastructure projects including roads, classrooms, and community facilities have been delivered across the state.
“His humility, compassion, dedication to human capital development, and unwavering commitment to unity and progress make him uniquely qualified to represent our zone effectively in the Senate
As a group We are convinced that Hon. Chief Ephraim Usman will champion the interests of Plateau Central in the National Assembly advocating for improved education, healthcare, security, infrastructure, and economic empowerment. ”
“This endorsement is a call to all well-meaning citizens of our zone to rally behind a proven leader who prioritizes people over politics.”
