Prominent Plateau State politician and Chairman of the North Central All Progressives Congress (APC) Forum, Alhaji Saleh Mandung Zazzaga, has extended warm congratulations to Hon. Ibrahim Baba Hassan following his recent appointment as Special Adviser on Political Strategy and Intelligence in the Office of the Honourable Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction, Hon. Dr. Bernard Mohammed Doro.
In a statement released on Saturday Alhaji Zazzaga described the appointment as a well-deserved recognition of Hon. Baba Hassan’s vast experience, dedication to grassroots politics, and unwavering commitment to the ideals of the APC.
He noted that Hon. Baba Hassan, a respected figure from Plateau State with a strong track record in political mobilization and community engagement, brings valuable expertise to the critical role.
“This appointment is a testament to Hon. Baba Hassan’s outstanding capabilities and the confidence reposed in him by the Honourable Minister, Dr. Bernard Mohammed Doro.
His strategic insight and political acumen will undoubtedly strengthen the ministry’s efforts in addressing humanitarian challenges and poverty reduction across the nation,” Alhaji Zazzaga said.
The APC chieftain, known for his active role in promoting party unity and supporting progressive initiatives in the North Central zone, expressed optimism that Hon. Baba Hassan’s new position would contribute significantly to effective policy implementation and enhanced coordination within the Federal Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Reduction.
Alhaji Saleh Zazzaga also used the opportunity to commend Hon. Dr. Bernard Mohammed Doro, the Honourable Minister, for his visionary leadership since assuming office in late 2025.

He praised Dr. Doro’s commitment to transparency, accountability, and impactful interventions aimed at uplifting vulnerable Nigerians.
“I am confident that under Dr. Doro’s guidance, with capable aides like Hon. Baba Hassan in strategic positions, the ministry will continue to deliver meaningful results in tackling poverty and providing timely humanitarian support,” he added.
Hon. Ibrahim Baba Hassan, who has previously served in various political capacities including as a former member representing Jos North, is expected to play a key role in shaping the political and intelligence strategies of the ministry to ensure broader reach and efficiency in its programs.
