By the Palace of Eze Sir Iheanacho Chinyereze Mbalewe, Eze Oha III of Uvuru

CHRISTMAS is more than a season of celebration; it is a sacred reminder of love, sacrifice, renewal, and hope. It is a moment when humanity pauses to reflect on the triumph of light over darkness and the enduring power of unity over division.
From the ancient throne of Uvuru, this Christmas message is extended to every son and daughter of our land and beyond —at home and in the diaspora — with a heart full of gratitude and a vision firmly set on the future.
At its core, Christmas teaches us that progress begins with love: love for one another, love for our heritage, and love for the land that nurtured us. It is this love that must inspire our actions, guide our decisions, and shape our collective aspirations. As a people richly endowed with culture, dignity, and resilience, we are called to rise above indifference and commit ourselves anew to peace, mutual respect, and purposeful development.
This season urges us to rekindle our passion for progress. True progress is not accidental; it is the product of unity, hard work, discipline, and shared responsibility. When we think community, invest homeward, empower our youth, and uphold values of integrity and excellence, we lay the foundation for a future that will honour our ancestors and inspire generations yet unborn.
Christmas also invites us to be compassionate. In extending a hand to the vulnerable and a voice to the unheard, we strengthen the moral fibre of our society. A people bound by empathy and justice cannot be broken; such a people will always move forward.
As we celebrate, let us resolve to walk into the New Year with renewed strength, clear purpose, and an unshakable commitment to building a peaceful, prosperous, and united Uvuru. Let our diversity remain our strength and our shared destiny our driving force.
May this Christmas bring joy to our homes, wisdom to our leaders, courage to our youth, and enduring peace to our land.
Ka ihunanya buru nke anyi.
Ka udo biri n’ala anyi.
Ka oganihu buru akara eji mara anyi.
Merry Christmas and a New Year of greatness and uncommon progress to all.
Long Live Uvuru Ancient Kingdom!
Long Live Uvuru Ikedinairi!
Long Live Our Collective Future!
