Prominent Plateau youth activist and philanthropist, Comrade Pius Hoomen, has joined millions of Nigerians in celebrating Eid al-Fitr (Eid-el-Fitr), the joyous festival marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
In a message released on Friday and made available to reporters in Jos ,Comrade Hoomen wished Muslim faithful across Plateau State, the country and beyond a peaceful and blessed Eid.
He urged citizens to carry forward the valuable lessons of Ramadan such as compassion, self-discipline, charity, and unity into their daily lives for the betterment of society .
Hommen added that happy Eid Mubarak to all our Muslim brothers and sisters celebrating this auspicious occasion.
“May Almighty Allah accept our fasting, prayers, and good deeds during the blessed month of Ramadan.
As we rejoice today, let us continue to imbibe the spirit of sacrifice, generosity, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence that Ramadan teaches us.
He called on all citizens regardless of faith to promote peacefully coextensive ,harmony, support one another, and work towards a more peaceful and prosperous nation.
