A group from Pankshin, Kanke and Kanam Local Government Areas referred to as the “PKK Progressive Alliance Group”) on Tuesday unequivocally endorse Rt. Hon. Yusuf Adamu Gagdi for a well-deserved third term in the Federal House of Representatives.

They advocated for a third term for Rep Yusuf Gagdi citing his integrity, courage, and the importance of experience and institutional knowledge in legislative effectiveness.

“Rt Hon. Gagdi’s performance has set a new standard for representation in PKK,His accessibility, humility, and direct interventions ,often supplemented by personal resources ,have earned him widespread admiration ,.”

“As we approach the next electoral cycle, we firmly believe that continuity in his leadership is essential to sustain and build upon these gains. “A third term will enable him to consolidate ongoing projects, attract more federal interventions, and advance even greater development for our constituency.”

“Since his election in 2019, and subsequent re-election in 2023, Rt. Hon. Gagdi has distinguished himself as one of the most dynamic, productive, and people-centered legislators in Nigeria.”

“Representing our constituency with exceptional dedication, he has transformed the lives of our people through unprecedented legislative excellence and tangible constituency development projects.”

A statement jointly signed by Adamu Tanimu Pankshin the Leader of the group and Barry Lawson the spokesman of the group further reads that among his most laudable achievements are sponsoring and securing presidential assent for multiple landmark bills, including the establishment of the Federal University of Education, Pankshin, the Federal College of Education, Dengi (Kanam), and other critical education and security-related legislations, bringing federal institutions closer to our communities and opening doors for higher education and skills development for thousands of our youths.”

The group added that Rep Yusuf Gagdi has been delivering massive infrastructure projects across the three local government areas, including the construction and rehabilitation of over 23 roads (rural and township roads), classroom blocks, health centers, skills acquisition centres, and town halls to foster economic empowerment and community gathering.”

They added that Gagdi has done well in honoring our cultural heritage while providing dignified working environments for traditional institutions.

The statement added that Gagdi has been facilitated youth and women empowerment programs, employment opportunities, scholarships, and refunds of examination fees (WAEC, NECO, JAMB) for thousands of students, alongside community development initiatives that have uplifted households in every ward.

“We, therefore, call on all sons and daughters of Pankshin, Kanam, and Kanke, regardless of political affiliation to rally behind Rt. Hon. Yusuf Adamu Gagdi and support his aspiration for a third term. ”

“His track record speaks volumes: he has delivered, he is trusted, and he remains committed to our collective progress’, they statement further reads.
