Nanmwa Jimmy Cheto has emerged as the African Democratic Congress (ADC) candidate for Langtang South Constituency in the Plateau State House of Assembly, ahead of the forthcoming elections.
His emergence followed the party’s selection process, where he secured the confidence of party stakeholders and supporters in the constituency.

Cheto son of the late Engr. Jimmy Cheto, whose legacy of service and community development remains widely acknowledged in the area.
Party sources described the candidate as a committed grassroots politician with a growing profile, noting that his emergence signals the ADC’s intention to strengthen its presence in Langtang South.
Speaking after his emergence, Cheto expressed appreciation to party leaders and supporters for the trust reposed in him, pledging to run an issue-based campaign focused on development, representation and the welfare of constituents.
He assured that, if elected, he would work to deliver effective legislation and responsive leadership to the people of Langtang South.
