Comrade Prince Miaphen, a former Acting President of NANS (National Association of Nigerian Students), has hailed the immediate past Governor of Plateau state Barrister Simon Lalong for his rare political maturity and statesmanship.
Miaphen in a statement made available to reporters in Jos said ” I sincerely commend and salute Senator Lalong’s exceptional maturity, wisdom, and uncommon understanding in the manner you handled the recent decamping of His Excellency, Governor Caleb Mutfwang, into the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The statement reads that ” Your public declaration, gracefully yielding the leadership of the APC in Plateau State to the sitting Governor upon his entry into the party, resonated deeply across political divides and earned you widespread admiration and respect. “
