JMDB Boss Arch Hart Bankat ,Ta ngan receive rousing welcome into the APC @ Fier Federal ward

The political atmosphere in Fier Ward was lively and colourful today as the All Progressives Congress (APC) formally welcomed Arch. Hart Bankat, General Manager of JMDB, and Hon. Panchen Emmanuel Tang’an, Secretary of the Plateau State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), into the party.

The event commenced with a courtesy visit to the District Palace, where the duo received royal blessings from the Senior District Head, HRH Dah Emmanuel Adam Kutse, who prayed for their success and wished them well in their political journey.

Following the palace visit, the reception moved to the event ground, where the two distinguished sons of Fier Ward were formally presented with APC membership cards by the Pankshin Local Government Area APC Deputy Chairman, Hon. Zakka Lengji.

Speaking on behalf of the decampees, Arch. Hart Bankat stated that their decision to join the APC was guided by the words of the Plateau State APC Leader, Governor Caleb Mutfwang, emphasizing the need to add value and not subtract, to unite and not divide, and to work collectively toward the shared goals and aspirations of the people of Fier Ward and Plateau State as a whole.

Earlier, while welcoming them into the party, the Ward Chairman, Hon. Clement Njot assured them of the party’s full support and cooperation.

 

The Senator representing Plateau Central, Sen. Diket Plang, who is also from Fier ward, expressed his joy while receiving the decampees. He described the development as a welcome one and confidently stated that Fier Ward is now complete and, by the grace of God, will deliver massive votes for the APC.

Goodwill messages were delivered by Hon. Edward Sunkur, Hon. Gokas Bitrus, Elder Stephen Dawat, and Sir Richard Tokma mni, who expressed delight over the decision of the decampees to join the APC family. They described the move as a sign of progress, assured them that they had made the right choice, and affirmed that Fier Federal Ward is now firmly APC, pledging 100 percent support for all APC candidates in the 2027 elections.

Several other party leaders, stakeholders, and members also presented goodwill messages, welcoming the new entrants and pledging unity, cooperation, and sustained support for the growth of the party in Fier Ward.

 

Dignitaries present at the event included Hon. Samuel Gwott, General Manager of Plateau Express Services, Mr. Naadem Daloek, Mathew Yokpe, Linus Yiltok, Raphael Rume, Tony Ngwen, Hon. Panmun Tokat, Cletus Gokyal, Prof. Comos Wule, Thompson Tokma, Alfred Wade, Gershinmwa Yilwada CY, Tokkit Nasara Victor and Hon. Nenpin Monday among others.
