Plateau state Governor Bar Caleb Mutfwang has celebrated his Majesty the Gbong Gwom Jos on his birthday .
Mutfwang in a statement signed by Bere Gyang his director of press and public affairs ,reads that “I am delighted to celebrate the birthday of His Majesty, Da Jacob Gyang Buba, CON, the Gbong Gwom Jos, and Chairman of the Plateau State Council of Chiefs and Emirs. A retired Comptroller-General of the Nigeria Customs Service and one of the illustrious sons of Plateau State, he has enriched our heritage with his wealth of experience gained through years of public service. The Royal Father not only embodies the pride of Plateau State, but is also a respectable custodian of the culture and traditions of the Berom Nation.”
The statement further reads that ” I take genuine pride in his enduring service of wise counsel and leadership of the Council of Chiefs and Emirs. ”
Through your efforts, Your Majesty, you have elevated the Traditional Stool of your Forefathers, by bringing uncommon dignity and pride of identity bear on our collective heritage.
