The Senior Special Adviser to the Executive Governor of Plateau State on Middle-Belt Affairs, Hon. Dan Kwada, has called for sustained prayers and continued support for the “Time Is Now” Administration of Gov. Caleb Mutfwang in Plateau State. He made the call during a meeting with the National Executive of the Middle-Belt Christian Ministers forum in Jos, comprising representatives from 15 states in the region.

Earlier, the National Chairman of the Middle-Belt Christian Ministers forum, Rev. John Nash, commended Governor Mutfwang for creating an office that has given the people of the region a sense of belonging and fostered cooperation and better understanding among them. Rev. Nash also praised the Governor’s efforts in uniting the people of the Middle-Belt region and his infrastructural development initiatives that have restored hope for citizens in the state.

Rev. Nash further spoke about the upcoming National Conference of the Middle-Belt Christian Ministers forum, scheduled for October 6, 2025, with the theme “The Role of Christian Ministers in Governance.” He sought partnership and collaboration from the Plateau State government to make the event a reality.

The Admin Secretary of the forum, Pastor Emmanuel Adtzi, added that the event, which will be held in Jos, will feature Christian Ministers as delegates from the 15 states that make up the entire Middle-Belt Region. The conference is expected to set the tone for more action and commitment to echo the voice and concerns of the Middle-Belt region, championed by Gov. Caleb Mutfwang of Plateau State.

In response, Hon. Dan Kwada thanked the forum for their support for Governor Caleb Mutfwang before, during, and after the election. He called on the Christian Ministers forum to sustain their support and intensify prayers for the Governor to continue the good works he has started in Plateau and the entire Middle-Belt Region. He described the event as historic and in line with the vision of Governor Caleb Mutfwang.

Hon. Kwada disclosed that there is a new dimension in the Middle-Belt, with a real battle for the soul of the region. However, he thanked God for Governor Mutfwang’s unwavering commitment and sacrifices in the development of the region. He charged the Christian Ministers forum to be catalysts of change for peace, unity, and development in the region.

The SSA assured the Middle-Belt Christian Ministers forum of Governor Mutfwang’s support at all times, particularly for their upcoming National Conference. He appealed to them not to allow greedy politicians who do not have the interest of the region to deceive them, as the region plans to move in one direction in 2027 by the special grace of God.

Other speakers, including Rev. Gideon Para-Mallam and Hon. Danjuma Azi, who were part of the SSA’s entourage appreciated the forum for raising their voices in the interest of the region, while Commending Governor Mutfwang’s leadership style in Plateau state and the entire region.

Rev. Para-Mallam further charged the Christian Ministers forum to remain committed to the struggle and enlighten the people not to compromise their lands, while the Jos North liaison officer, Hon. Danjuma Azi called for more prayers for Governor Mutfwang, Plateau State, and the entire Middle-Belt Region.
