Immediate past Director-General and chief executive officer of the Industrial Training Fund, Sir Joseph Ari, on Monday said that he is leaving the ITF with a sense of purpose and fulfillment after serving as the DG for seven years.

Ari made this known in Jos, at the valedictory/handover ceremony organized by management and staff of the ITF.

He appealed to the management of the fund to extend their support to his successor, Mr Afiz Oluwatoyin.

Mr. Ari urged them to be selfless in the discharge of their duties and responsibilities, with a view to helping to sustain the organization’s track record of being one of the ”best” in the country with a diligent workforce.

Our correspondent reports that some of the directors who spoke at the handover ceremony eulogize the former DG’s leadership style which created a harmonious working environment.

The new D-G of the Fund , Mr. Mr Afiz Oluwatoyin represented by the Director, Vocational Skills Development Department, Mr James Abimbola described Mr. Ari as a reformer and pledged to build on the achievements he recorded in the fund.

It could be recalled that President Bola Tinubu on Friday October 13th approved the appointment of new Chief Executive Officers, CEOs, of several agencies and parastatals under the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment including the ITF.
