The Chief Executive Officer and Director General of the Kogi State Social Investment Programme Agency (KOSSIPA), Hajiya Aisha Oyiza Omade, has received two prestigious international awards in Canada within a span of two months.

The recognitions were presented in acknowledgment of her entrepreneurial excellence and philanthropic contributions toward community development, women empowerment, and social impact over the years.

The first Certificate of Recognition was presented to her on August 9, 2025, by His Worship Patrick Brown, the Mayor of Brampton, Ontario, Canada. The award highlighted her consistent efforts in improving lives within her community by empowering the less privileged, funding small businesses, and supporting hundreds of women across Kogi State through the KOSSIPA platform.

Hajiya Aisha, also a passionate golfer at the IBB Golf Club in Abuja, has long been regarded as a strong pillar of community development, using her influence and office to drive social investment initiatives that touch lives in Kogi State and beyond.

The second award was received on her behalf by the Special Adviser to the Kogi State Governor on Art and Culture, Nigerian music star Jumabee, during an event organized by the Mayor of Brampton to mark Nigeria’s Independence Day, themed “One Nigeria.”

At the event, Hajiya Aisha was commended for her generosity, leadership, and entrepreneurial spirit, which have brought hope to many homes across Nigeria.

A pioneer Deputy State Woman Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kogi State, Hajiya Aisha Oyiza Omade continues to be celebrated for her commitment to humanitarian service and as a key pillar in Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo’s administration.
