Chairman of the North Central APC Forum, Alhaji Saleh Zazzaga has congratulated Barrister Buhari Ibrahim Shehu ,on his well-deserved appointment as interim Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN) .
In a congratulatory message issued on Friday in Jos , Alhaji Zazzaga described Shehu’s appointment as a triumph of dedication, competence, and acceptance, noting that it reflects the confidence of Nigerian youths in his leadership capacity and vision.
Zazzaga said “We in the North Central especially Plateau are proud of you, You are a brother “We congratulate you on this well deserved appointment . ”
” I urge you to work collaboratively with all stakeholders to reposition the NYCN as a credible and united platform for Nigerian youth,” he stated.
He charged the interim leadership with the urgent task of restoring stability within the NYCN, which has in recent years faced internal crises and leadership disputes.
“ Shehu’s emergence is not only a win for Plateau State, but also a testament to your years of selfless service, youth advocacy, and unwavering commitment to nation-building.”
Alhaji Zazzaga expressed optimism that Barrister Shehu will bring his wealth of experience and passion for youth development to bear in repositioning the NYCN for greater impact.
Zazzaga further urged the new NYCN interim leadership to foster collaboration, inclusiveness, and constructive engagement with government and development partners to advance the collective interests of Nigerian youths.
