Presents 16 appointment letters to constituents

Member representing Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam, PKK, Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Yusuf Adamu Gagdi, has urged members and supporters of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the constituency to close ranks and work collectively for the progress of the party and the constituency.
Gagdi, who reacted after the Federal High Court, Jos Judicial Division, struck out a suit challenging his emergence as the APC candidate for the constituency, also announced the presentation of pensionable and permanent appointment letters to 16 constituents employed in different agencies of the Federal Government.
In a statement reacting to the judgment on Thursday Gagdi said “Today, the Federal High Court sitting in Jos affirmed my victory in the APC primary election for the Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam Federal Constituency.”
“I receive this judgment with profound gratitude to Almighty Allah and dedicate the victory to the resilient and wonderful people of Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam Federal Constituency.”
“It is a victory for democracy, the rule of law and the collective aspirations of our people.”
“For me, the most meaningful way to celebrate a political victory is not with noise or extravagance, but by creating opportunities that improve the lives of our people.”
“I am therefore marking today’s victory by presenting pensionable and permanent appointment letters to 16 sons and daughters of Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam Federal Constituency who have secured employment in different agencies of the Federal Government.”
“That is the kind of celebration I believe in: turning political victories into opportunities for the people.”
Gagdi also said ” I urge our supporters to celebrate with maturity, restraint and decorum.”
“We have travelled this political journey and earned the confidence of our people repeatedly; therefore, this moment calls not for triumphalism, but for greater responsibility and renewed commitment to service.”
“To my brothers and sisters who stood on the other side of the primary election and the subsequent legal process, I extend a sincere hand of fellowship.”
“The contest is over; the greater task before us is bigger than any individual ambition.”
“Let us close ranks, strengthen our great party and work collectively for the progress of PKK and the success of the APC in the 2027 general election.”
“Reconciliation, therefore, should never be mistaken for weakness. It is the responsibility of leadership after every legitimate contest to unite the family, accommodate differences and move forward with confidence.”
He added that “Our doors remain open to everyone genuinely committed to the peace, progress and prosperity of Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam Federal Constituency.”
“I thank Almighty Allah for His enduring grace, and I deeply appreciate our people for their prayers, trust and steadfast support.”
“The victory belongs to PKK, the opportunities belong to our people and the work continues.”he added.
