Usman Rates Mikang LGA Boss High on Performance

The Plateau State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Chief Ephraim Usman has rated the performance of the Executive Chairman, Mikang LGA, Hon. Dr. Bernard Alkali, placing him higher than his peers given the accelerated pace of development on the ground across the council.

The Commissioner gave the commendation in Tunkus, recently at a tripartite event that witnessed the presentation of official Vehicles to Principal officers of both the Executive and Legislative Arms, distribution of Motorcycles to security agencies, party Excos, Okada Riders and departments , as well as the flag off of Sato Toilets to mitigate the menace of open defecation.

The Commissioner appreciated the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barrister Caleb Mutfwang, for the prompt release of funds to the councils and urged the people to continue to support the administration of the Executive Governor to attract more dividends of governance.

He assured the people of Mikang of the Governor’s quest to bring more developmental projects to the area .

 

 

The Executive Chairman, Mikang LGA, assured his people of his readiness to do more than they expected as he solicited for their maximum cooperation.

The Council Boss used the occasion to announce the appointment of more aides who are expected to bring their wealth of experience in his administration in the coming days. Alkali also presented assorted grains to all the eighteen electoral wards which are to distributed to the vulnerable people in society.

Highpoint of the occasion was the presentation of all the mentioned items by invited personalities.

Goodwill messages were received from the Party, Traditional Council, and Honorable commissioner for Women Affairs, Plateau State, Hon. Caroline Dafur Panglang.

The occasion was also attended by the former Chairman of the Council, Hon. Daniel Kangmi and Hon. Isa Kongwai.
