North Central Support Group (NCSG) for Dr Gbenga Hashim’s presidential bid has appealed to the Peoples Democratic Party ( PDP) to prioritise a level playing ground for all aspirants, regardless of their geographical location.
The convener of the group, Hon. Ezekiel Dinfa  made the appeal while addressing journalists at PDP state Secretariat in Jos, the Plateau state capital.
He urged the leadership of the party to look into the recent zoning arrangements it made in order to provide a level playing ground for all aspirants in the 2027 presidential election.
We wish to commend the National Working Committee of the Party led by our amiable Chairman, Iliya Damagun, the BOT members, and other critical stakeholders of the Party for their unwavering commitment to stabilizing the party and sustaining the momentum as we prepare for the Ibadan National Convention in 2027.
Dinfa also said Nigerians are united in their desire for effective leadership that can tackle the nation’s economic and security challenges, stressing that only PDP can provide leaders with the ability to deliver tangible results and drive national progress.
They also endorsed Governor Caleb Mutfwang’s re election bid.
They said  We gather here today as representatives of the North Central Support groups for Dr. Gbenga Joel Hashim’s presidential bid to first of all appreciate the Leadership of Governor the Plateau State Governor Barr. Caleb Mutfwang and to Endorse him for the second Tenure in office to consolidate on the games already achieved in Plateau State.
Governor Mutfwang has no doubt change the narrative interms of leadership in Plateau state with infrastructural development everywhere, ensuring peace and security of citizens and inclusive Governance in the state.
We hereby reiterate our support for Barr. Caleb Mutfwang on the Plateau and Dr. Gbenga Joel Hashim for president, believing that they possess the vision, leadership skills, and character required to lead Plateau and Nigeria to greatness.
