The African Democratic Congress (ADC) flag bearer for Langtang North Central State Constituency, Hon. Nanzing John Bongtim, has expressed deep sorrow over the death of elder statesman and retired Comptroller of Customs, Danjuma Siman, who died in a fatal motor accident along the Akwanga–Nasarawa Road on June 10, 2026.
In a statement issued on Thursday, Hon. Nanzing described the late Siman as a towering figure in the Tarok Nation whose life was marked by integrity, compassion, and unwavering dedication to the service of humanity.
According to him, the deceased was a symbol of unity, wisdom, and selfless leadership whose influence extended beyond his immediate community.
He noted that Siman devoted his life to promoting fairness, justice, and the empowerment of young people, leaving behind a legacy that would continue to inspire future generations.
“Danjuma Siman was a pillar of hope and a source of strength for countless people.
He invested his time, counsel, and resources in uplifting others without seeking personal gain. His voice carried weight because it was rooted in truth and service,” Nanzing stated.
The ADC standard-bearer further described the late elder statesman as a father figure whose encouragement and steadfast support he would always cherish, adding that his passion for the progress and development of the Tarok people was evident throughout his lifetime.
Hon. Nanzing extended his heartfelt condolences to the Siman family, the people of Bwarat and Dangre, and all those affected by the tragic loss.
While mourning his passing, he urged family members, friends, and associates to take solace in the enduring legacy of selflessness, humility, and community service left behind by the deceased.
He prayed for the peaceful repose of Siman’s soul and for God to grant his family the strength and fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
The late Danjuma Siman was widely respected for his contributions to community development, public service, and the advancement of the Tarok Nation.
