The flag bearer of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for Langtang Central Constituency, Hon. Bongtim John Nanzing, has congratulated Brigadier General Jon Temlong (Rtd.) on his conferment with the prestigious national honour of Commander of the Order of the Niger (CON) by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
In a congratulatory message, Hon. Nanzing described the honour as a well-deserved recognition of Brig. Gen. Temlong’s decades of dedicated service to Nigeria, marked by exemplary leadership, patriotism, and commitment to national development.
According to him, the retired military officer distinguished himself during his years in service through professionalism, discipline, and unwavering dedication to the preservation of peace, unity, and security across the country.
“Your life of discipline, integrity, and dedication to nation-building remains a beacon for leaders across generations. This national honour is a fitting recognition of your immense contributions to our nation,” Nanzing stated.
The ADC flag bearer noted that the people of Plateau State and Nigerians at large are proud of Brig. Gen. Temlong’s achievements and the recognition bestowed upon him by the Federal Government.
He further expressed confidence that the former military officer would continue to inspire younger generations through his commitment to public service and community development.
On behalf of the ADC family and the people of Langtang Central Constituency, Hon. Nanzing celebrated the milestone and prayed for God to grant Brig. Gen. Temlong good health, renewed strength, and greater wisdom in his continued service to humanity.
